Davis` have arrived.......

Kyle and Gloria have arrived safely. Jess and Gloria are looking beautiful at tea time!

Kyle and Gloria in Germany.....

Well, we all went to Koblenz today. We travelled to an old castle that served as a strong point for the Germans in both wars. It was over two hundred years old and it had an unbelievable view. The Allies decided not to destroy it because of the history involved. This is Jess and I at the front gate. It was complete with a huge iron door (that you can`t see) and a moat.

This is Kyle and Gloria at the old castle in Koblenz. It overlooks the meeting of the Mosel and Rhein Rivers. Historic here in Deutschland.

Jess and Gloria in the same spot.

Crazy German Hockey!

OK, this is for those of you who didn`t believe my stories. This is what happens after every win. First, we shake hands with the other team. Next we do what we are doing below. We salute the crowd and wave our hands in the air. They start to chant wwwwwoooooooooooo and when they finish we bring our hands from low to high. Then they start again with wwwwwooooooooo and we put our hands low and bring them over our heads. CRAZY! Then we clap over our heads to thank the fans for coming. (Notice me below just trying to get off the ice at the bottom)
This is where it gets really funny. After a big win the crowd keeps cheering and chanting. It`s like an encore. We are in the dressing room at this point. They keep doing it, and doing it until the team comes back out. Then we face the fans and start to clap and salute them. They keep chanting that they want the CATERPILLAR. We all get on our hands and knees and walk around like that for a bit and they go crazy! You won`t see me because I go in at the very end.
OH ZIE GERMANS!

Hockey....

These are some pictures of our fans at the game on Sunday. Keep in mind that this is on the road in Ratingen.

Frontal Shot.....

For those of you who asked, here is what Jess` tattoo looks like at 5½ months. She is getting to be round! All is well with both Jess and the baby. The baby is very active and I felt my first kick yesterday. Very strong due to premature quadricep development like Dad!
